Geralis Design

About Me

I have been doing this a long time.

Hi. I’m John Geralis, a graphic designer, illustrator, and web developer in Villanova, PA. I’ve been creating and designing ever since I can remember, and now work as a Senior Designer and Web Developer for the Nemours Foundation's Center for Children's Health Media, creators of KidsHealth.org the #1 most-visited website devoted to children’s health in English and Spanish.
Before becoming an advertising graphic designer, I spent 15 years as a museum curator and exhibit designer. I hold a BFA in illustration from the School of Visual Arts.
In 2010 I formed PGDN (Philadelphia Graphic Design Network), an online forum of more than 600 massively talented Philadelphia-area designers who share ideas, network, post images of recent projects, and keep tabs on what their fellow Philly design colleagues are doing. I also maintain a Facebook page called Strange Faces in Strange Places
My house is somewhat crowded, as my wife and daughters compete for room among our dogs, turtles, snake, several toads and—when winter sets in—a circus of flying squirrels. It’s fun being me.
